DeLand's hidden gem serving homemade German favorites and legendary prime rib for nearly 50 years. Where every guest becomes family.
What started as a cozy neighborhood lounge founded by Bill & Emmy has blossomed into DeLand's most beloved destination for authentic German cuisine. After Bill's passing in 1980, Emmy carried on their dream—opening Nashville Station, then Southern Lights, before returning to her roots.
In 1995, Emmy reopened the restaurant at Time Out Tavern, bringing her legendary recipes and warm hospitality back home. Today, with her son Mark by her side, Emmy still greets guests personally, ensuring everyone feels like family the moment they walk through the door.
